Topwall TIR's maintained at well below 10 microns for extended production periods at canmaking speeds of 450cpm are a reality with the latest advances in Bodymaker technology from CarnaudMetalbox Engineering.

Existing 5000 Bodymaker customers can now take full advantage of our latest 5000 Bodymaker technology by fitting our integrated seal pack and ram coolant ring upgrade package.

Using a Kamen Dynamic Analyser, our engineers proved that the ram behaved in a similar fashion to a bi-metallic strip when coolant was applied to a specific area. With coolant applied evenly around the ram's circumference, thermal drift is eliminated, allowing more accurate alignment.

Changing seals is also easier thanks to new "user friendly" seal pack design.
