a reality with the latest advances in Bodymaker technology from
CarnaudMetalbox Engineering.
B3 and B4 Bodymaker customers can now take full
advantage of our latest Bodymaker technology by fitting our integrated
seal pack and ram coolant ring upgrade package.
Using a Kamen Dynamic Analyser, our engineers
proved that the ram behaved in a similar fashion to a bi-metallic
strip when coolant was applied to a specific area. With coolant
applied evenly around the ram's circumference, thermal drift is
eliminated, allowing more accurate alignment.
Changing seals is also easier thanks to
new "user friendly" seal pack design.
